Miraflors is a creative laboratory in the Nou Moles neighborhood, Olivereta district, which is a quiet place, west of the city, close to a park with airplanes. It is a small workshop, which has previously been a takeaway and an insurance brokerage.
The space has been converted into an intimate artistic and cultural laboratory, with sensitivity and attention paid to the art and architecture of small things. Thus, between the plants and paintings, between various aromas and paints, the laboratory has five independent workstations, offering a more intimate, personal and warm proposal than the large coworking as a work space. In addition, Miraflors also aims to be the shelter for exhibitions and activities that transform it in an ephemeral way and in which to make room for talent and thought.
The transformation of the place has been carried out through found objects that have been given a second life. Abandoned or unused belongings have been reformulated into objects to be inhabited in new meanings. Thus, Miraflors aims to become a place where artistic, social and cultural projects of all kinds germinate and are born, by those of us who like to dream that transforming the microworld is still possible, even more so if we do it by sharing a place, and a piece of life through creation.
One of the identity elements of Miraflors is a floral illustration framed in gold leaf, which adorns the space and was found on the Mestalla trail in 2015. To develop the identity of the place, on an extreme red, we photographed and woven what Later it gives shape to a catalog of flowers and people, documenting them and making them participants in the space, linking in turn the existence of living beings and the network of friends.
